About Our Temple
In 1918, the Tamil community residing in the Taman Alam Shah estate in Klang worshiped Muniswaran and Karamariyamman as their protective deities. Initially, Mr. Balan Nair took the initiative to establish a modest temple and conducted worship ceremonies on a small scale. Subsequently, TNB workers united and collaboratively founded a shrine for Sri Maha Mariamman in 1974. In 1994, the temple was relocated to its present location after securing dedicated land. The grand Kumbabishekam ceremony for the new temple was conducted in 1994. As part of the temple complex, a multi-purpose hall has been erected. Presently, the temple conducts all ceremonies and festivals with great significance, having undergone the necessary registration.
