About Our Temple
The Kannur Sri Maha Mariamman Maha Kaliamman Temple is situated in Tambun, Ipoh, Perak. This temple was constructed in 1915 by the residents of Gunung Rapat. Approximately a century ago, individuals employed in the mining industry in the area established this temple. The temple is dedicated to seven deities, including Mariamman, Kaliamman, Durghai Amman, Murugan, Vinayagar, Sanniswarar, and Munisweer. The local inhabitants residing near the temple actively participate in its maintenance and cleanliness. Devotees hold a deep belief in the extraordinary power of Amman, as they consistently experience the fulfillment of their prayers when directed towards her.
