About Our Temple
During the 1930s, Tamils employed on Sime Darby's Gadek farm used to conduct worship for Lord Muruga, setting up a makeshift temple. At that time, the farm management had allocated 1/2 Acre of land for the temple. However, in 1970, when the farms were sold, the Tamils also relocated to suburban areas, resulting in the temple being left neglected. Faced with this situation, the farm administration proposed demolishing the temple. In response, Mr. Sitthan and Murugan Mandor put in considerable effort and, with the support of devotees, purchased the temple land. A new temple was constructed in 2015, and the inaugural Kumbabhishekam ceremony was conducted. Currently, the temple is officially registered, and all religious rituals are carried out smoothly.
