About Our Temple
During the 1970s, the Durian Tunggal area was home to Mr. Madurai Veeran and Arasu Kannusami's family. In 1994, Mr. Arasu Kannusami received the blessings of Durkeswarar and commenced oracle reading (arul vaaku). Subsequently, with the collaboration of Mr. Madurai Veeran's family, a Durkeswarar temple was constructed, where both Madurai Veeran and Muneeswaran were venerated, and oracle reading practices were initiated. The temple has been officially registered, and daily pooja rituals are diligently conducted. The maintenance and oversight of the temple are currently undertaken by Mr. Madurai Veeran and Mr. Arasu.
