About Our Temple
The Sri Jada Muneeswarar Temple, located on Jalan Simpang in Taiping, Perak, has a history dating back approximately 122 years. It is said that Mr. Rajangam, a resident of the area, had a dream in which Jada Muneeswarar appeared standing beneath a banyan tree and showed him the location of the temple. Inspired by this vision, he built a small hut under the banyan tree and placed a trident there to begin worshipping Jada Muneeswarar. In the early days, only Mr. Rajangam's family worshipped at the temple. However, over time, the local community also started worshipping Jada Muneeswarar. After 1990s, a management committee was formed for the temple. The committee officially registered the temple and has been maintaining it ever since.
