About Our Temple
The Vaideeswarar Thaiyalanayaki Amman Temple was founded in 1916 by the employees of the Malayan Railway Department residing and working in the vicinity. Erected near the Seang Island Railway Station (Tampin), the temple received approval from the Railway Department for its construction. Renowned not only in Melaka but across the country, the temple is currently under the management of a recently formed executive committee, overseen by the local Hindu community of Tampin Pulau Sebang. The temple houses deities such as Vaideeswarar, Thayalnayaki Amman, Nagar, Bhairava Murugan, and Vinayagar. Regular religious and social activities take place at the temple, with the administration extending assistance to the impoverished and school students. Additionally, the temple administration conducts classes on religion and speech. The temple was registered in 1977 but it still lacks its own land.
