About Our Temple
This temple was built in 1901 around a rubber tree. Numerous Hindus visit this temple to offer their prayers. The Tamil community, residing in the rubber plantation, initially worshipped Muniswaran as their guardian deity. In the early days, they set up a small shrine and performed rituals with a trident Trisulam). Later, with the permission of the plantation management, they built a modest temple and conducted the Khumbabishegam ceremony. Although the Tamil residents have moved to urban areas, they still actively participate in the special prayers and festivals held at the temple. Currently, the temple is formally registered, and all the rituals and festivals are conducted with great reverence.
