About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, situated in Felda Lembah Klau, Raub, Pahang, is believed to have been founded in 1968 by Mr. Shanmugam Thangavelu and the Felda farm laborers. This temple emerged as a necessity for the workers of that era who sought a dedicated space for worship. In its initial stages, the temple comprised a modest structure constructed with wooden planks and a zinc roof. Within this simple abode, a portrait of Goddess Amman was enshrined and revered. Devotees flock to this temple with the firm belief in the formidable strength of Goddess Amman, anticipating divine blessings. The fulfillment of prayers for the temple's devotees has contributed to its popularity, attracting a considerable number of local worshipers whenever religious ceremonies, such as pooja, take place. It is noteworthy that this temple has been officially registered.
