About Our Temple
The Sree Bathra Kaliamman Temple is located in Ipoh, Perak. It was established in 1950 by the local community along with the efforts of a worker named Ganabathy. In its early days, the temple was a simple structure, consisting of a small hut constructed from wooden planks and featuring a zinc roof. Mr. Ganabathy placed a framed image of Kalaamman inside the hut and conducted prayers. Devotees visit this temple to offer their prayers to Goddess Kaliamman, believing in her protective and blessing powers. The local community in the area has taken on the responsibility of maintaining and caring for the temple. This temple has undergone the Kumbabishegam ceremony three times. It also annually celebrates the Aadi Thiruvilla festival.
