About Our Temple
The Sree Muneeswarar Amman Temple is situated in Ipoh, Perak. In 1961, it was established by the Indian farm laborers residing in the Tapah area. In its early days, this temple was constructed beneath the shelter of a tree, taking the form of a small hut made from wooden planks and featuring a zinc roof. Inside the temple, a spear (Soolam) was positioned and venerated. After a few years, an idol of Amman was added to the temple. Subsequently, the temple underwent a renovation, and a stone building was constructed using funds gathered from devoted worshippers. Additionally, a stone representation of Lord Muneeswarar was erected. To this day, the temple continues to draw a substantial number of devotees.
