About Our Temple
Located in Mentakab, Temerloh, Pahang, the Sri Aathi Parasakthi Temple is believed to have been established in 1947 by Mr. Munusamy. In 1968, Mrs. Valliamma oversaw the construction of the temple next to a military camp on JKR land. Initially built under a large tree, the temple stood for a considerable period. In 2002, JKR workers, in collaboration with local residents, rebuilt the temple, marking the occurrence of its first Kumbabhishegam. The upcoming second Kumbabhishegam is scheduled for 2025, and the statues of deities and goddesses, crafted from black granite stone (kaarunggal), were custom-made in India. The funding for these statues was contributed by various prominent developers in the area. This temple is officially registered, and its primary festival is the Aadi Thiruvilla.
