About Our Temple
In 1926, the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was originally established on Jalan Ahmad Shah. Following a directive from the state government, the temple underwent relocation to a new site on Lot.1077, Jalan Kuantan, in 1988. The original temple structure was constructed using wood, and in 1994, the temple obtained a land grant from the Pahang State Government. Approval for the construction of a two-storey temple and hall building was granted by the Temerloh Municipal Council in 1999. By the end of 2010, the construction of the new two-storey temple and hall building was successfully completed. The Maha Kumbabhishegam ceremony for the new temple building was held on May 15, 2011. Importantly, this temple is officially registered.
