About Our Temple
The Sri Amman Temple was built in 1950 by Mr. Vellachami. In the early days, Mr. Vellachami constructed a small hut under a tree and placed a trident (sulam) and an Amman idol for worship by lighting lamps and offering prayers. After the 1970s, the temple management decided to fully renovate and restore the temple. With the help of the temple management, devotees, and donations, a new temple was built, and the Kumbabishekam (consecration) ceremony was conducted. The temple is now officially registered. All rituals and festivals are carried out with great devotion.
