About Our Temple
The Sri Panchamurthi Krishnan Temple is located in Tanjong Malim, near the KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) station. The temple was built during 1940s and 1950s by the employees of KTM. At that time, many workers lived in the KTM quarters. The land lease was only 10 ringgit per year, which made it affordable for the workers to build the temple. The temple site was located on land owned by KTM until 2012. After that, the temple purchased its own land. With the efforts of the temple management and the support of the devotees, a new temple was built, and the Kumbabishekam (consecration) ceremony was conducted. Today, the temple is officially registered and is functioning efficiently, with all rituals and festivals being celebrated with great devotion. It serves as an important place of worship for the local community.
