About Our Temple
Sri Arjuneswarar Draupadi Amman Temple is located in the Kampung Tersusun Batu area. The temple was established over 110 years ago by Tamil workers employed in the Kota Baru estate. These workers initially worshipped Draupadi Amman as their guardian deity by placing a trident under a small tree. Later, a modest temple was built, and a statue of the goddess was installed. After the 1940s, a specific plot of land was allocated for the temple in the Jalan Kota Baru area, and permission was granted to construct a new temple. With the support of devotees, the temple management built the new structure and conducted the **Kumbabishekam** (consecration ceremony). Today, the temple is officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are conducted with great devotion and grandeur.
