About Our Temple
The Sri Bala Murugan Temple is located in Taiping, Perak. It is believed to have originally belonged to a family, though their history is not well-documented. In the 1970s, a Murugan devotee living in this area had a vision of Lord Murugan in a dream. Inspired by this, he built a small wooden hut on his residential property, placed a Vel (spear) inside, and began worshipping Lord Murugan. In the early days, only his family members worshipped at the site, but no accurate records about them are available.Later, in 1980, the family constructed a small temple. Eventually, they relocated to another area. The local community has since established a management committee to officially register and maintain the temple, ensuring its continued upkeep and worship practices.
