About Our Temple

The inception of the Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple occurred in 1990 in Kampong Pasir. In 2002, the temple underwent relocation from Kampung Pasir to Sri Kembangan. Initially, the Kaliamman sculpture was housed in a small room for worship. In 2008, the construction of a new temple commenced, reaching completion in 2010, followed by the performance of the Kumbabhishekam ceremony. The primary deity, the Kaliamman statue, stands at a majestic height of 6 feet, radiating beauty. The temple features distinct towers dedicated to deities such as Kamleswarar, Muneeswaran, Pechai Amman, Vinayagar, and Balamurugan. An annual festival is organized in the month of Aadi. The temple offers various amenities, including a marriage hall, theatre, canteen, and parking lot, enhancing the overall experience for devotees and visitors alike.
