About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mangala Thurgai Amman Temple is located in Gopeng, Perak. This temple was founded in 1992 by Mr. Vidumaran Arunaselam. Initially, it was a modest shelter constructed with wooden planks and a zinc roof. Inside the hut, Mr. Vidumaran placed an image of Durgai Amman and offered his devotion to her. Word quickly spread about the divine power associated with the temple, and soon, residents from the Gopeng area began visiting to worship. Under the guidance of the temple's new committee, the structure has been transformed into a solid stone building. The temple has been officially registered and annually celebrates Aadi Thiruvilla.
