About Our Temple
In 1940, the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was established by Tamil residents living in Kundang estate., Pahang. The temple structure is relatively small, initially built with a single stone altar where devotees performed worship in a modest setting. With the ongoing efforts of the temple management and the support of the local community, the Sri Muthappan Temple was later constructed with the approval of the temple administrators. Currently, the temple is officially registered and conducts all its rituals with great significance. The establishment of this temple in Kuantan transformed it into a focal point for the Hindu community in the region, serving as a place for prayer and communal gatherings.
