About Our Temple
The Arulmiku Sri Maha Mariamman Swamp Embankment Temple has a history spanning 42 years, having been inaugurated in 1979 with the laying of the foundation stone. The diligent endeavors of Mr. S Ponnusamy Foreman, along with the wholehearted cooperation of the Tambak Paya Village residents, Tambak Paya village workers, and EIG rubber plantation workers, led to the successful construction of the temple. Generously, Mr. Perumal and Mr. A Periyasamy from Tambak Paya village donated 1/4 Acre of their own land for the temple's establishment. Upon the completion of the temple construction, a Maha Kumbabhishekam ceremony was joyously held on 14/09/1980. In 1982, the temple was officially registered with the Malaysian government.
