About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Sepang, Sime Darby Main Division, was established in 1912 by Tamil devotees employed in the oil palm plantation. Initially, a modest shed was constructed, housing an idol of Goddess Mariamman, whom they revered as their guardian deity. Subsequently, through the collaborative efforts of the temple management and devotees, the temple underwent expansion and renovation. In 1986, the inaugural Kumbabishekam ceremony was conducted with profound reverence. In 2014, with the assistance of Datuk Rajendran, the temple complex was enhanced with the addition of shrines dedicated to Muniswaran and Nagamman. Presently, the temple is meticulously maintained, with all rituals and festivals observed with grandeur.
