About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman temple in Sungai Linau, Sepang, was established in 1936 within the Harrison Plantation Berhad area. It was erected by Tamil laborers who toiled in the plantation, dedicating it to Goddess Mariamman and Lord Muneeswaran as their guardian deities. Subsequently, the temple administration independently transferred adjacent land for its use. Supported financially by the temple management and devotees, a new temple was built in 1963, followed by a Kumbabisjegam ceremony. Presently, the temple is officially registered and conducts all its rituals and ceremonies with utmost reverence and auspiciousness.
