About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was established in 1951 through the efforts of Mr. Thillai Govindan, with the support of the local Tamil community. In its early days, the temple was built under a tree, and the idol of Goddess Mariamman was installed for worship. Over time, many local residents began visiting the temple for prayers. Later, with the initiative of the temple management, the support of devotees, and generous donations from individuals, a new temple structure was constructed. Today, the temple is officially registered and functions efficiently, with all rituals and festivals being conducted with great devotion and grandeur.
