About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Muneeswarar Temple, situated in Temerloh, Pahang, was constructed by Indian laborers from the JKR in 1921. The laborers felt the need for a temple for worship as several among them were falling ill. They initially set up a small hut under a large tree and placed a stone inside, offering prayers. Subsequently, they replaced the stone with a statue of Lord Muneeswarar, considering him a protective deity. Devotees regularly pray at this temple, seeking protection and well-being from Lord Muneeswarar. The temple observes the annual celebration of Aadi Thiruvilla and is duly registered.
