About Our Temple
The Sri Muneeswarar Temple is located in Tanjung Rambutan, Perak. Its establishment dates back to 1895 when the local residents of Tanjung Rambutan initiated its construction. According to belief, Lord Muneeswaraa appeared in a resident's dream, urging the community to build a temple. The construction began with the placement of a spear (Soolam). In its initial form, the temple was a humble structure, comprising a small hut crafted from wooden planks with a zinc roof, housing the revered Soolam. During the annual festival, this temple conducts animal sacrifices, and it is during this period that devotees gather to seek the fulfillment of their wishes.
