About Our Temple
The Persatuan Penganut Sri Muniswarar is located in Tanjung Rambutan, Perak. In 1922, the Indian community in Tanjung Rambutan venerated a stone as their deity, Muniswarar. They positioned this stone beneath a Peepal tree and constructed a small hut made from wooden planks with a zinc roof. At that time, the practice of animal sacrifice was observed. In subsequent years, devotees of the temple, with the support of public donations, erected a new temple made of stone. Aadi Thiruvilla is commemorated annually in this temple.
