About Our Temple
The Sri Muniswarar Padacedu Amman Temple is situated in Market Simpang, Perak. It is believed to have been established in 1915 by estate workers laboring on the farm. Initially, this temple was constructed as a small hut under a Peepal tree (Arasemaram), using wooden planks and a zinc roof. During that time, there were no other Hindu temples in the area for worship, so they built this temple to honor Lord Muniswarar, who is considered a protective deity. Today, under the new temple management and with donations collected from local devotees, a stone structure has been erected for the temple. It has been officially registered. Naga Panchajami prayers are conducted in this temple.
