About Our Temple
The Sri Muneeswaran Temple, located in Raub, Pahang, has been in existence for about a hundred years ago. Tamil devotees, who lived in the estate area of Cheroh Lama, established the temple and began worshipping Muneeswaran as their guardian deity. In the early days, they placed a small trident (Soolam) and conducted worship rituals in the temple. Later, with the development of the estate, the temple underwent renovation and expansion. During that period, the estate was fully developed, and the temple was consecrated with the participation of the residents. In the contemporary era, the temple was further developed under the joint efforts of the residents and the temple administration. The estate was fully reconstructed, and a grand consecration ceremony (Kumbhabhishekam) was performed for the Sri Muneeswaran Temple. Currently, the temple is registered, and all the worship ceremonies and festivals are conducted with great reverence.
