About Our Temple
The Sri Muthu Mariamman Temple is located in Trong, Perak. In the 1880s, plantation workers in the Trong area established the temple for their protection and worship. Initially, the temple was a simple wooden hut with an image of Goddess Mariamman and a trident, where they conducted their prayers.Later, with the efforts of the temple management, the support of devotees, and donations from individuals, a new temple was constructed. Today, the temple is officially registered and operates efficiently. The Aadi Thiruvizha festival is celebrated grandly every year with great enthusiasm and devotion.
