About Our Temple
In the 1960s, the people living in the Taman Rain Tree Utama area worked in the nearby a quarry. As part of their work, they felt the need a protective deity , so they began worshiping a Ganesh idol that was placed under a tree. In the following years, when the government declared the hilly areas as state property, the Tamil people who worked there moved to nearby residential areas. However, the government allocated the area where the temple had been established for the temple's use. Later, the temple administration, driven by the devotion to Lord Nataraja, completely rebuilt the Ganesh shrine into a Nataraja temple. The temple was fully renovated and restored over time, and further renovation work is still ongoing. Currently, the temple administration, has established a community hall and a school, conducting various social welfare activities for youth and children. The temple is now officially registered, and all prayers and festivals are being conducted with great splendor.
