About Our Temple
In the 1940s, the residents of Kampung Raja Muda united to establish a temple dedicated to Goddess Mariamman within their community. Spearheaded by Mr. Sundararajan, the construction and worship activities at the Padai Vettri Mariamman Temple were initiated. Encouraged by the goddess's blessings, local inhabitants began actively participating in the temple's rituals and ceremonies. Today, the temple holds significant significance in the lives of the area's residents. Mr. Ravindran, Mr. Sundararajan's son, currently oversees the temple, ensuring the proper conduct of all rituals and festivals, which are observed with utmost grandeur and reverence.
