About Our Temple

Situated in Teluk Intan, Perak, the Sri Raja Muniandy, Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple holds historical significance. Since the 1920s, employees residing in the Teluk Intan Hospital vicinity have been devotedly worshiping Muniyandi and Kaliyamman. Over time, the hospital evolved into a crucial place of worship for both hospital staff and patients. In later years, Mr. Athamalingam played a pivotal role in the temple's maintenance, ensuring proper conduct of poojas. The temple witnessed the significant ceremony of Kumbabhishekam in 2006. However, due to the aging infrastructure, the temple has developed cracks in various areas, prompting a comprehensive restoration effort. Presently, the restoration work is temporarily halted due to insufficient funds. The temple administration is actively pursuing the acquisition of land for the temple, and despite ongoing renovations, the temple is duly registered.
