About Our Temple
The Sri Subramaniar Temple, located in Mentakab, Pahang, is said to have been founded in 1923 by estate workers. Initially, a small hut was constructed under a tree, where workers placed a spear (Vel) and worshipped it as Lord Muruga. In recent times, the temple, now under new management, has undergone changes, with the construction of a stone building funded by public donations. The temple attracts local and other devotees, particularly during the Thaipusam celebration. Notably, this temple is registered under ROS (Registrar of Societies).
