About Our Temple
The humble beginning of this temple had its origin in the Sungai Way Tin Mines as early as 1966. Infact it was a place for the Tamil tin mining workers to congregate and worship. During 1989, the small temple was relocated to present site and the Kumbabishegam was held in the year 1992 after renovation. The temple then started becoming a bustling center of activity for the local Hindus. At one stage it was realized that this small temple would not be enough to with stand the strength of ever increasing devotees. Hence with the blessing of Lord Sri Subramaniar, the Management committee headed by Dato' R.Manivasagan had decided to transform this into a fairly bigger temple with a 7 tier Rajagopuram of 90 feet. With the financial as well as physical support of so many well wishers and friends the team could complete the task with in 3 years and the Maha Kumbabishekam was held on 23rd June 2013. In the following year the same committee has built a grand multipurpose hall, mainly for the local People to conduct their weddings and other functions at an affordable cost.
